The 30 Summit Leadership Legacy Award is presented to an individual who has
exhibited tremendous leadership and already left a legacy of positive impact
in their work. The recipient must exhibit strong character, judicious and
ethical decision-making, and an approach to work and life that pushes the
limits of what’s possible.

This award was inspired by the incredible life and leadership of Michael
Muchioki. In his 27 years, Michael had a profound impact on everyone he met.
He was funny, smart, caring, and kind. He was an incredible son, brother,
uncle, fiancée, and friend to all who knew him. As a leader in Alpha Phi
Alpha, Michael dedicated much of his time to building others up. He made
everyone around him better, always, and his legacy of leadership and impact
will not soon be forgotten.
